“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
Insight
Jesus' command to love isn't new in content but in standard: 'As I have loved you.' His love is sacrificial, unconditional, pursuing, and forgiving. That's the love you're called to give others. Not love when they deserve it, but love like Jesus loved you—when you were still a sinner. This kind of love is supernatural. You can't manufacture it. It flows from being deeply loved by Him first. Receive His love, then overflow it to others without limits.
