Day 19 of 365
Joy as Our Strength
Psalm 16:11
Psalm 16:11
“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
Insight
True joy is found in God's presence, not in circumstances. This verse connects joy with knowing God's path for our lives. When we walk in His will, in His presence, joy naturally flows. Unlike happiness, which depends on happenings, joy is rooted in our relationship with God and the eternal perspective He gives us.
Reflection
Where are you searching for joy? How might intentionally spending time in God's presence fill you with the joy you're seeking?
