“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.”
Insight
Jesus isn't a distant God who doesn't understand human struggle. He was tempted in every way you are. He experienced hunger, exhaustion, betrayal, rejection, and pain. He knows what it's like to be human. When you're tempted, He understands. When you're hurting, He empathizes. When you're weak, He helps. Run to Him, not from Him. He's not disgusted by your struggle; He's ready to help in your time of need.

What struggle or temptation makes you feel like God couldn't possibly understand? How does knowing Jesus faced every temptation you face change your willingness to bring it to Him?
