“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

Insight

Your thought life matters. What you dwell on shapes who you become. Paul gives six filters for your thoughts: true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable. If a thought doesn't pass through these filters, reject it. Don't entertain lies, impurity, bitterness, or worthless things. Fill your mind with what's excellent and praiseworthy. This isn't positive thinking—it's biblical thinking. Guard your mind because it's the battlefield where spiritual war is won or lost.
