“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Insight
Courage isn't the absence of fear; it's action despite fear. God repeatedly commands courage throughout Scripture - not because His people weren't afraid, but because they were. Joshua faced intimidating enemies. David confronted a giant. Esther approached the king. All were afraid. All acted courageously. You will face fear. The question is: will you let it paralyze you, or will you act courageously knowing God is with you?
