“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light.”
Insight
You're building your life on one of two foundations - Jesus (rock) or anything else (sand). And you're building with one of two materials - eternal (gold, silver, costly stones) or temporary (wood, hay, straw). One day, fire will test your work. What's built on Jesus with eternal materials will last. What's built on anything else will burn. Build wisely. Build on Jesus. Build with eternity in view.
