Day 177 of 365
Prayer for Rejoicing in Suffering
Romans 5:3-4
Romans 5:3-4
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I don't enjoy suffering, but I know it produces perseverance, character, and hope. Don't let me waste my suffering. Let it work in me what You intend. I rejoice not in the pain, but in the purpose. My suffering is producing something eternally valuable. In Jesus' name, Amen.
