Day 17 of 365
Prayer for Patience and Perseverance
James 1:2-4
James 1:2-4
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
Prayer
Patient Father, I'm tired of waiting. The situation I've been praying about seems unchanged, and I'm losing hope. Help me remember that Your timing is perfect, even when it doesn't match mine. Give me patience to wait on You and perseverance to keep pressing forward. Strengthen my resolve to not give up or give in. Help me run with endurance the race marked out for me, keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus. In His name, Amen.
