Day 237 of 365
Prayer for Godly Repentance
2 Corinthians 7:10
2 Corinthians 7:10
“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.”
Prayer
Father, when I sin, let godly sorrow drive me to repentance. Not worldly regret that leads to shame, but godly sorrow that leads to salvation and freedom. Help me say, 'I've sinned against God,' not just 'I got caught.' Help me experience the gift of repentance that produces change and leaves no regret. In Jesus' name, Amen.
