Day 184 of 365

The Gift of Salvation

Ephesians 2:8-9

Ephesians 2:8-9

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Reflection

Salvation is a gift, not wages. You can't earn it, deserve it, or accomplish it. God offers it freely through grace, received by faith. This truth demolishes pride and eliminates boasting. You didn't save yourself; God saved you. This should produce profound gratitude and humility. Stop trying to earn what's freely given. Stop performing to maintain what's already secured. Rest in grace. Salvation is by grace through faith - a gift. Receive it. Rest in it. Rejoice in it.
