Day 99 of 365

Speaking Truth in Love

Ephesians 4:15

Ephesians 4:15

“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”

Reflection

Truth without love is harsh. Love without truth is weak. But truth spoken in love is transformative. Sometimes love requires difficult conversations - confronting sin, addressing issues, speaking uncomfortable truths. But how you say it matters. Speak truth to help, not hurt. To build up, not tear down. To restore, not destroy. Check your heart before you check someone else. Make sure love motivates your words. Speak truth wrapped in love.
