Day 156 of 365

Redeeming Your Past

Romans 8:28

Romans 8:28

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Reflection

Your past doesn't have to define your future. God redeems even the worst experiences for good. This doesn't mean everything that happened was good - abuse, trauma, and sin are never good. But God can take what the enemy meant for evil and work it for good. Your pain becomes your ministry. Your mess becomes your message. Your scars become your testimony. Nothing is wasted with God. He's working all things - even your past mistakes and painful experiences - together for good. Trust His redemptive power.
