Day 154 of 365

Pursuing Holiness

1 Peter 1:15-16

1 Peter 1:15-16

“But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'”

Reflection

Holiness isn't optional for believers; it's commanded. Be holy as God is holy. This seems impossible - and it is, in your own strength. But God doesn't command what He won't empower. Holiness is both position and process. Positionally, you're holy in Christ. Practically, you're becoming holy through daily choices. Pursue holiness in all you do - your thought life, relationships, work, entertainment choices. Not to earn God's love but to reflect His character. You're called to be set apart, different, holy. Live like it.
