Day 92 of 365

Extending Grace

Colossians 3:13

Colossians 3:13

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

Reflection

People will disappoint you. They'll fail, frustrate, and hurt you. How you respond reveals your spiritual maturity. Extending grace doesn't mean excusing sin or allowing abuse. It means choosing to forgive as Christ forgave you - immediately, completely, sacrificially. Grace remembers how much you've been forgiven and extends that same mercy to others. When someone hurts you, you have a choice: hold a grudge or extend grace. Choose grace. It frees you both.
