Day 175 of 365
Crucifying the Flesh
Galatians 5:24
Galatians 5:24
“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”
Reflection
Crucifixion is violent and final. Paul says you've crucified the flesh - put it to death. This isn't gradual improvement; it's decisive execution. Your old nature with its sinful passions and desires was nailed to the cross with Jesus. It's dead. So why does it still seem alive? Because you keep taking it off the cross. Stop resurrecting what Jesus killed. When fleshly desires arise, remember: that's dead. I'm alive in Christ. You're not trying to kill the flesh; it's already dead. Walk in that reality.
