“Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.”
Insight
A divided heart tries to love God and the world, to serve Christ and self, to walk in light while entertaining darkness. It doesn't work. David prayed for an undivided heart—one wholly devoted to God, with no competing loyalties. This is a prayer God loves to answer because it aligns with His will. Ask God to unify your affections, to help you love Him with your whole heart, to remove every divided loyalty that dilutes your devotion.
