Day 242 of 365
The Spirit Teaches
1 Corinthians 2:13
1 Corinthians 2:13
“This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.”
Insight
The Spirit teaches truth that human wisdom can't comprehend. Spiritual realities require spiritual teaching. You can't understand God's truth through intellect alone. You need the Spirit to illuminate, explain, and apply Scripture. Don't lean solely on commentaries or preachers. Let the Spirit be your primary teacher. He wrote the Word. He's the best interpreter. Listen to Him. Learn from Him. He teaches what no human teacher can.
Reflection
Are you depending on the Spirit to teach you Scripture, or are you relying only on human wisdom? How can you learn more from the Spirit?
