Day 95 of 365

The Discipline of Waiting

Lamentations 3:25-26

Lamentations 3:25-26

“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”

Insight

Waiting is active, not passive. It's not sitting idly hoping something happens; it's actively trusting God while you wait. Waiting tests your faith, reveals what you truly believe about God's character, and develops patience. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him. Quiet waiting - without complaining, without manipulating, without forcing - positions you to receive God's salvation and timing.

Reflection

What are you waiting for right now? How can you wait 'quietly' - with faith and peace instead of anxiety and frustration?
