Day 126 of 365
Strength Through Joy
Psalm 16:11
Psalm 16:11
“You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
Insight
Joy isn't found in circumstances but in God's presence. When you're in His presence, joy fills you regardless of external conditions. This joy is your strength - it energizes you when you're weary, lifts you when you're down, and sustains you in difficulty. The world seeks joy in possessions, achievements, and pleasures. But true joy - lasting, deep, unshakable - is found in God's presence. Seek His presence. Find joy.
Reflection
When you're depleted, where do you go for joy - entertainment, food, people, or God's presence? What would change if you ran to His presence first?
