Day 135 of 365

Serving Is Leading

John 13:14-15

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”

Insight

Jesus, the King of Kings, washed His disciples' feet - a task reserved for the lowest servant. Then He said, 'Do as I have done.' Leadership in God's kingdom looks different from worldly leadership. It's not about being served but about serving. Not about status but sacrifice. Not about power but humility. If Jesus can serve, so can you. True greatness is measured by service.

Reflection

How are you serving others - family, church, community? What 'foot-washing' (humble service) is God calling you to do?
