Living Sacrifice

“And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
Insight
Jesus didn't die so you could live for yourself. He died so you could live for Him. This means surrendering your agenda for His, your plans for His purposes, your will for His way. It's daily dying to self - your comfort, preferences, rights - to serve Him. Living sacrificially is uncomfortable, costly, and countercultural. But it's true worship. It's the only reasonable response to the cross.

In what area are you still living for yourself instead of for Jesus? What would sacrificial living look like in that specific area?
