“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Insight
Loneliness lies. It whispers that you're abandoned, forgotten, alone. But God promises He will never leave or forsake you. Ever. His presence isn't contingent on your feelings. Even when you don't sense Him, He's there. Even when circumstances suggest otherwise, He remains. His faithfulness doesn't waver. His commitment doesn't fail. You are never, ever alone.
Reflection
When have you felt most alone? Looking back, can you now see evidence that God was actually present even when you didn't feel Him?
