Day 117 of 365
Divine Delays
John 11:6
John 11:6
“So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days.”
Insight
Jesus delayed when Lazarus was sick. Why? Because He had something better in mind than healing - resurrection. Lazarus died, but Jesus raised him, displaying God's glory in a greater way. Sometimes God's delays aren't denials; they're setups for something better. What if your delay is positioning you for a greater miracle than you initially asked for? Trust God's timing. His delays have purpose.
Reflection
What are you waiting for that feels delayed? How might God be setting up something bigger than what you originally prayed for?
