Day 286 of 365
Appointed for Fruitfulness
Jeremiah 17:8
Jeremiah 17:8
“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Insight
Fruitfulness isn't circumstantial—it's positional. When you're planted by living water, you bear fruit regardless of conditions. Heat comes. Drought arrives. But your roots reach the stream. You don't fear. You don't worry. You keep bearing fruit. The key is staying planted by the water—abiding in Christ. When you're rooted in Him, external circumstances don't determine internal fruitfulness. Stay planted. Keep drinking. Bear fruit always.
Reflection
Are you planted by living water or trying to bear fruit in your own strength? What would it look like to deepen your roots in Christ?
