Day 227 of 365

Prayer for Walking in Light

Romans 13:12

“The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.”

Prayer

Father, help me put off darkness and put on light. The night is nearly over; Jesus is coming soon. Help me put aside every deed of darkness - secret sin, hidden shame, compromising behavior. Help me put on the armor of light - truth, righteousness, and holiness. The day is coming. Help me live ready. In Jesus' name, Amen.
