Day 229 of 365

Prayer for Humility

Colossians 3:12

“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”

Prayer

Father, I'm chosen, holy, and dearly loved. From that identity, help me clothe myself with humility. Humility isn't thinking less of myself; it's thinking of yourself less. Help me serve without recognition, give without praise, and love without credit. Clothe me daily with humility. In Jesus' name, Amen.
