Prayer for Freedom from Secret Sin

Prayer

Father, I confess the sin I've been hiding. The one nobody knows about but You. I've tried to manage it, minimize it, excuse it - but it's time to eliminate it. Give me courage to bring it into the light. Connect me with someone I can confess to and be accountable to. Break shame's power over me. Give me strength to throw off this sin that entangles me and run freely in obedience. I can't do this alone, but with You, all things are possible. In Jesus' name, Amen.
