Day 139 of 365
Prayer for Eternal Perspective
John 14:2-3
John 14:2-3
“My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”
Prayer
Lord, this world isn't my home. I'm just passing through. You're preparing my eternal home - no pain, no tears, no death. Help me live with eternity in view. Don't let me get too comfortable here. Let me hold earthly things loosely and invest in what lasts forever. My real home is coming. In Jesus' name, Amen.
