Day 88 of 365
When Your Faith Is Tested
James 1:2-4
James 1:2-4
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Reflection
Trials aren't fun, but they're purposeful. God uses them to grow you. Untested faith is immature faith. When everything's easy, you don't know what you really believe. But when trials come - financial pressure, health scares, relationship problems, loss - that's when faith is tested and proven. Tests reveal whether you trust God's character or just appreciate His blessings. Will you worship in the storm? Will you obey when it costs you? Will you trust when you can't see? Pass the test, and you emerge stronger, more mature, more like Jesus. The trial you're in right now is developing perseverance you'll need for what's next. Don't waste your pain. Let it refine you. Today, ask God: 'What are you teaching me through this?' Trust that He's working even when you can't see it.
