Day 128 of 365

Trusting God's Character

Numbers 23:19

Numbers 23:19

“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”

Reflection

When circumstances contradict God's promises, trust His character. He's not human - He doesn't lie, change His mind, or fail to act. If He spoke it, He'll do it. If He promised it, He'll fulfill it. Your feelings lie. Circumstances change. But God's character is unchanging. He's faithful, true, and good. What has God promised you? Trust Him to fulfill it. His character guarantees it.
