Day 219 of 365
The Joy of Obedience
John 15:10-11
John 15:10-11
“If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”
Reflection
Obedience to Christ leads to joy - complete joy. Jesus obeyed the Father and experienced His love. He calls you to do the same. Obedience isn't burdensome legalism; it's the path to fullness of joy. When you obey Christ, you remain in His love and experience His joy. Disobedience steals joy. Obedience restores it. If you're lacking joy, check your obedience. Jesus wants your joy to be complete. The path there is obedience.
