Day 221 of 365

The Fellowship of Suffering

Philippians 3:10

Philippians 3:10

“I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.”

Reflection

Knowing Christ includes sharing in His sufferings. Paul didn't just want resurrection power; he wanted to participate in Christ's sufferings. Why? Because suffering for Christ deepens your relationship with Him. When you suffer for righteousness, you fellowship with Jesus in a unique way. Don't run from suffering that comes from following Christ. Embrace it. It's not punishment - it's participation. It's part of knowing Him fully. The power of resurrection comes through the fellowship of suffering.
