Day 244 of 365
Tested Faith
1 Peter 1:7
1 Peter 1:7
“These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
Reflection
Your faith is being tested to prove its genuineness. Like gold refined by fire, trials burn away impurities and reveal what's real. Your faith is more valuable than gold. It's eternal. Gold perishes; faith endures. When Jesus returns, your proven faith will result in praise, glory, and honor. Don't despise the testing. It's producing something precious. Let the fire refine your faith. The result will be worth it.
