Day 159 of 365
Running Your Race
Hebrews 12:1
Hebrews 12:1
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
Reflection
Life is a marathon, not a sprint. You need endurance, not just intensity. To run well, throw off hindrances - not just sin, but anything weighing you down. Unforgiveness, toxic relationships, time-wasters, misplaced priorities. Travel light. Run focused. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on other runners. Don't quit when it's hard. Don't slow down when it's boring. Run with perseverance. You're surrounded by witnesses - those who've finished well - cheering you on. Keep running. The finish line is worth it.
