Day 22 of 365
Increasing Your Income, God's Way
Deuteronomy 8:18
Deuteronomy 8:18
“But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”
Reflection
Wanting to increase your income isn't greedy when your motives are right. God gives you the ability to earn, and He's pleased when you develop skills that expand your capacity to provide and give. Are you being paid fairly? Are you developing marketable skills? Are you working with excellence? Increasing income requires intentionality: negotiating salary, building side income, pursuing advancement, or starting a business. But never forget the source - God gives the ability. As your income grows, so should your giving, saving, and wise stewardship. Joseph, Lydia, and Paul understood this balance. They worked diligently, earned well, and used resources for kingdom purposes. What step toward income growth is God asking you to take?
