Day 6 of 365

Contentment is Wealth

1 Timothy 6:6-8

1 Timothy 6:6-8

“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.”

Reflection

True wealth isn't measured by bank accounts, but by contentment. You can be rich and miserable, or have little and be joyful. The secret is godliness paired with contentment - finding satisfaction in God rather than stuff. When you arrived on earth, you brought nothing. When you leave, you'll take nothing. Everything in between is a gift from God to be stewarded wisely and held loosely. Today, choose gratitude over greed, and watch how it transforms your relationship with money.
